A Police Officer with a difference

You may have come across several no nonsense police officers, who always think that their duty is to only ensure law and order and nothing else. But, we have a completely different police officer, who does everything with the sole objective of bringing a change in the society and make his contributions to the society to ensure that it becomes the best place to live .  T. Srinivas Rao, the Station House Officer (Inspector of Police)  of  One Town police station from Karimnagar town of Telangana state belongs to the league of officers with a difference. As the incharge of the police station, his every act is aimed at helping people in need and address their problems in his own way.

The police inspector saved the life of an elderly woman, who was about commit suicide after being thrown on the road by her near and dear ones. " The woman Bhoomavva was brought before me by our staff. The staff told me that she was going to commit suicide by jumping off from the bund of a local dam but was rescued by our staff. When I interacted with her, she told me that she did not want to live anymore as she was disappointed with the world. However, I consoled her completely and told her that she is an invaluable asset to the society. I, then, immediately shifted her to an old age home for her stay," he said. The gesture showed by Rao made the woman so happy that she could not have asked for more. The woman was immediately rushed to the old age home by the police staff after feeding her with enough food. The inspector paid the entire cost of the food from his pocket.  This one incident is enough to show the magnanimity of the police officer, who always strives to bring smiles on the faces of others.  He is now going to embark upon a noble mission to rehabilitate  the abandoned and missing children, who are found sleeping on platforms and streets.  " We are going to embark upon this ambitious journey as it involves the rehabilitation of abandoned and missing children. We will reunite them with their family members if they have any or send them to a rehabilitation center for their care," Srinivas Rao said.   The good samaritan is already busy with unemployed training program which is aimed at providing free training to all job aspirants of competitive exams from the city. " The program is designed by the senior officials of our department. It is aimed at providing free training to all the job aspirants and help them appear for all kinds of competitive exams with ease," he noted. Mr. Rao is motivating all the youngsters whom he meet to join their training  program and benefit from it.
