SupremeCourt to hear plea seeking a declaration of uniform public holiday policy all across the country. The plea is made in light of the cancellation of a public holiday in the Union Territory of Dadar and Nagar Haveli.

Adv: This is a case about public holidays. The Union Territory of Dadar and Nagar Haveli has declared that the Independence day of Dadar and Nagar Haveli will not be a holiday. We were enjoying this for 66 years and now they have taken it away.

Bench: How can we intervene?
