2G Spectrum Scam verdict adjourned to November 7

The special Central Bureau of Investigation court in New Delhi on Wednesday said the date of judgement in the 2G Spectrum case will be announced on November 7 in which former telecom minister A Raja and DMK MP Kanomozhi are among the main accused.

CBI special judge O.P. Saini, who is exclusively dealing with the cases prevailing out of the 2G spectrum scam, also issued warrants to Unitech's Managing Director Sanjay Chandra and Bollywood producer Karim Morani, asking them to be present in the court on November 7 who were absent as they are in judicial custody in separate cases.  The other accused were present in the court.

The court said it might decide the date of judgement on the next date fixed for hearing.

The court was hearing two separate cases related to 2G Spectrum scam. One is being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the other by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). On April 26, the court had concluded final arguments in the case.
